Bachelor of Trauma and Orthopaedics

Programme procedure

 

This is a three-year Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics for general clinical officers in response to MOH’s quest to improve quality clinical care in trauma and orthopaedics at the district and sub-district level. This program is tailored specifically for clinical officers who would like to improve their skills as clinicians in trauma and orthopaedics.  As there are also diploma level orthopaedic clinical officers already in the health system in Malawi, a two year bachelor of science degree in trauma and orthopaedics has also been developed as an upgrading course from diploma to degree.
