Student Presentations


During term students present Monday to Thursday at handover, which is chaired by the consultant who was on call the previous night.

The presentation by the student takes 10 minutes and critique 5 minutes. 

Final Year Students present on Mondays and Tuesdays. Feedback is provided by either the consultant or the registrar who was on call the previous night. 
The emphasis should be on a concise history and examination and on the differential diagnosis, investigation and management. The student should be able to discuss all of the conditions mentioned in the differential diagnosis, including the investigation and management.

Clinical officers present Wednesdays

Third Year Students present on Wednesdays and Thursdays
The emphasis of the critique on these presentations is on the history and examination
