African Mental Health Research Initiative (AMARI)

 

The Department of Mental Health, College of Medicine, University of Malawi is part of the African Mental Health Research Initiative (AMARI), funded by the Wellcome Trust through the Development of Excellence in Leadership Training and Science (DELTAS) program.

The overall goal of AMARI is to build an Africa-led network of mental, neurological and substance use (MNS) disorder researchers in Ethiopia, Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe. We aim to equip researchers to lead high quality mental health research programmes that meet the needs of their countries.
