Procurement Notice : Supply and Delivery of COVID Reagents

COLLEGE OF MEDICINE

  1. The College of Medicine has reserved funds for COVID 19 response to procure College of Medicine Reagents. The College therefore invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

  1. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the open tendering procedures, contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act 2017 and is open to all eligible bidders in Malawi.
  1. Bidders are required to bid for all the materials.
  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the College and inspect the bidding documents at the address given in paragraph 11 below.
  1. A complete set of bidding documents in English, may be provided to interested bidders through email. rntenje@medcol.mw
  1. The Bid Documents can be provided from The Procurement Office, The College of Medicine, Mahtma Gandhi Road , Histopathology Building, Blantyre. Or through rntenje@medical.mw
  1. Instruction to bidders, Contract conditions, schedule of requirements and evaluation and qualification criteria are all provided in the Bid Document. Bidders are advised to carefully study the Bid Document and adhere to its requirements as failure to adhere to requirements shall risk disqualification.
  1. Tenders must remain valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline for submission of tenders.
  1. The College expects bidders under this tender to observe the highest standards of ethics. In pursuance of this, bidders shall be penalized if found to have indulged in any form of canvassing, collusion or corrupt practice.
  1. Bids clearly quoting The Name of the Goods to be Provided and the Tender Number shall be addressed to: The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Assets Committee, College of Medicine, Mahatma Gandih Road, Histopathology Building, P.O. Box 360, Blantyre, Malawi.
  1. The Bids shall be Submitted electronically through rntenje@medcol.mw not later than 10:30 Hrs. on 16/07/2020
  1. The bids will be opened on the same date, 16/07/2020 at 10:30 Hrs. in the Conference Room of the College of Medicine Histopathology Conference Room in Blantyre. Bidders or their representatives are free to attend the function.
