The Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery programme (MBBS)
Anaesthesia as a subject at Medical School is rather difficult to establish. Knowledge and skills need to be developed over time while any action of the anaesthetist has significant impact on the patient. We are very grateful to be able to teach our medical students in the skills lab to give them a safe learning environment. Also, they will experience theatre and ICU at the side of College staff.
The department is involved in teaching in all the years of the Medical School as part of the integrated teaching that is practiced in the College.
Medical students in their 4th year will participate at a two weeks block course consisting of lectures, assignments to theatre and ICU as well as scenarios in the skills lab.
As part of the Surgical Block Teaching in MBBS 5, our department delivers lectures and deepens the knowledge in the field of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Emergency and Pain Medicine.

The Master of Medicine (MMed) programme in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care
