TWO YEAR TRAINING IN CERTIFICATE IN PHARMACY TENABLE AT EKWENDENI COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND ST JOSEPH COLLEGE OF NURSING

The College of Medicine, a Constituent College of the University of Malawi has been consulted by the Ministry of Health (PIU) to facilitate the recruitment of candidates to pursue Pharmacy Assistant Program at Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences and St. Joseph College of Nursing. This is a new program which is being introduced in the two colleges to increase the number of Pharmacy Assistants in Malawi. These Pharmacy Assistants are being earmarked to serve in various health facilities in Malawi, more especially in rural health centers. The first cohort of this program will be fully funded by the Global Fund through Ministry of Health-Program Implementing Unit (PIU).
